Nordic power prices are rising slightly on Monday morning, as a bullish impact from rebounding German power and fuels has been partly offset by wetter forecasts, players said.
The Q3 11 contract was last seen at EUR 55.80/MWh, up 25 cents from Friday, while Year 2012 was up 30 cents at EUR 51.75/MWh. "The weather forecasts have turned wetter over the weekend, which is preventing prices from rising with a stronger German power market and higher commodities prices,” said a Swedish trader.
