Nordic forwards are softening on Monday morning on the back of wet and warm weather forecasts and a lower than expected system price, traders said.
The benchmark front quarter was last traded at EUR 35.30/MWh, down EUR 0.35 from Friday, while the YR 10 had lost EUR 0.30 at EUR 34.60/MWh.
Prices were coming under pressure from wetter and warmer weather forecasts than the seasonal average, while German power and CO2 also pointed downwards, Øyvind Nes from Censu Trading in Norway said.
