The Nordic market is relatively calm on Tuesday, with prices easing on modest volumes as players have closed their positions.
The Q1 contract opened at EUR 64.25/MWh, but was last seen at EUR 63.10/MWh, 30 cents down from Monday. "The market opened up. This has almost become automatic of late,” said Filip Lindberg of Swedish utility MälarEnergi. "I think the low activity we see today is a result of people having closed their positions, everybody is long in the market now,” he added.
