Nordic power forwards are rising on Tuesday morning underpinned by a drier weather outlook and macroeconomic optimism, players said.
The Q1 12 contract last traded at EUR 47.20/MWh, up EUR 0.10 day on day, but down from an intraday high of EUR 47.80/MWh, while the November contract had risen by EUR 0.50 to EUR 45.00/MWh. The 2012 contract had meanwhile climbed by EUR 0.10 to EUR 44.25/MWh, shedding early-morning gains which saw the contract peak at EUR 44.60/MWh.
