Nordic Market - Curve falls sharply on low spot, heavy rain

Heavy rain and wet forecasts are driving down Nordic power prices across the board on Monday.
The Q4 contract was last traded at EUR 49.20 MWh, down EUR 1.45/MWh from Friday, while the Year 2012 contract was down 80 cents at EUR 46.60/MWh. Prices are falling on the back of very wet weather forecasts and a low spot price for Monday at EUR 38.84/MWh, players said.
