Nordic power forwards are falling across the board due to mild and wet weather forecasts, as well as softer continental power and lower coal prices, traders said.
The benchmark Q2 11 contract had shed EUR 0.50 at EUR 55.75/MWh, following an early-morning sell-off which saw the contract quoted at a low of EUR 54.40/MWh.
Meanwhile, the Feburary contract had lost EUR 1.55 day on day at EUR 67.70/MWh, while the front year had retreated by EUR 0.05 to EUR 48.95/MWh, bouncing back from an intra-day low of EUR 48.55/MWh.
