Prices on the Nordic power curve are easing off on Thursday morning as the cold snap nears an end and carbon prices are falling, players said.
The Q1 10 contract was last seen traded at EUR 38.40/MWh, 50 cents below Wednesday's close, while YR 10 was last seen at EUR 37.30/MWh, down 45 cents. ”I think we are following CO2 today. Emission prices are falling and this could be connected to the news that China does not expected an agreement in Copenhagen,” said Jens Nordberg, trader at Göteborg Energi Din El in Sweden.
