Nordic Market - Curve drops amid weak spot

The Nordic power curve is falling on Monday as players react to a weaker than expected spot price for Monday and slightly wetter weather forecasts.
The June contract was last seen at EUR 44.60/MWh, down EUR 1 from Friday, while Q3 10 was also down one euro at EUR 47.85/MWh. "We are following a downward momentum from the end of last week and the market is also reacting to an increased likelihood in the weather forecasts of more low pressures coming in from the west,” said Peter Lidén, trader at Swedish utility Telge Kraft.
