Nordic Market - Correction day

Following several days of plunging prices, the Nordic power market saw a correction manoeuvre today. However, players are still anticipating hydro levels building up and producers releasing water levels they have been sitting on since last autumn.
Following a price drop of over 20 per cent in one week, the Q2-08 contract yesterday witnessed a new all time low at EUR 31.50/MWh, but regained EUR 1.70 this morning, last seen at EUR 33.20/MWh."We saw a perfectly natural correction this morning, following such a strong downward period.
