Nordic forward prices are still climbing on Wednesday morning, correcting against the low levels of last week and supported by rising fuels, players said.
The Q2 09 contract last traded at EUR 30.30/MWh at Nord Pool, up EUR 1.17 from Tuesday.
Stronger fuels, and especially CO2 prices, were lifting Nordic power and could give further potential on the upside, players said. "Last week it fell too far, too fast,” said a Norwegian trader, adding that new input was needed to keep prices up.
