Nordic power contracts are climbing on Thursday, due to forecasts for cold and dry weather, traders said.
The March contract was last seen EUR 1.50 stronger at EUR 65/MWh, while the Q2 11 contract was 80 cents stronger at EUR 55.25/MWh. The climbing prices were due to the latest weather forecast, traders said. The low levels in Nordic hydropower reservoirs also helped push up prices.
