Nordic Market - Continued bearish direction

Thursday opened down as the weather forecasts showed that there is more precipitation in the coming. Players believe in continued price drops ahead, but don’t see a huge downside since the hydrological situation evidently isn’t very good.
The morning market was relatively calm, but prices fell as the morning’s weather forecasts pointed in a continued bearish direction. Familiar rangeA Norwegian player said that the summer contract would very likely remain in a well-known range for the rest of this week.- The morning fall was quite good, and we have returned to the 220-230 NOK/MWh range

Bearish fundamentals continue to push prices southwards at Nord Pool, but the summer contract has not been able to push below the 221 NOK/MWh support area this morning and is currently trading just south of yesterday´s closing price.

Bearish fundamentals continue to push prices southwards at Nord Pool, but the summer contract has not been able to push below the 221 NOK/MWh support area this morning and is currently trading just south of yesterday´s closing price.

Nordic Market - "Notoriously bearish"
The Wednesday morning market fell another couple of NOK, seeing that the high pressure is giving way for more normal weather. A Swedish trader characterized the market as notoriously bearish, and a Norwegian player considered the present 230 NOK/MWh level as the possible top of the new trend.
