Prices at the front end of the Nordic curve are rising on Thursday morning as the market braces itself for cold weather and high spot prices in the coming week, players said.
The front week contract was last seen traded at EUR 80/MWh, up EUR 3.00 from Wednesday, while the March contract last traded at EUR 67.50/MWh, up EUR 2.50. "It's very volatile. There are large movements both intraday and from day to day,” said a Norwegian trader.
