Nordic forwards are strengthening on Thursday on the back of colder, drier weather and a capacity reduction at Swedish nuclear reactor Ringhals 1 (855 MW) only two days after it had been restarted, players said.
The Q2 contract last traded at EUR 47.90/MWh on Nord Pool, up EUR 1.15 from Wednesday. "The big trigger for the rise is the reduction [of capacity] at Ringhals 1.
