A strong opening triggered selling interest in the market this morning, and prices have softened from their opening levels. Market players remain bullish, though, due to dry forecasts and expectations of higher spot prices next week.
– Yesterday we had some deviations in the forecasts. Today all seem to agree on dry weather ahead, and spot prices are likely to increase further next week as activity gradually picks up after the holidays, a Norwegian analyst summed up. The week-ahead contract was last traded at 277.25 NOK/MWh, comfortably above the spot prices seen this week.Heading towards 320
