Nordic forwards are rising on Thursday morning on the back of cold weather forecasts and a bullish market sentiment, traders said.
The Q2 10 contract was last seen at EUR 59.70/MWh, up EUR 1.30 day on day, while YR 11 had gained EUR 0.50 at EUR 43.65/MWh. "The curve is rising on a weak hydrological outlook, strong CO2 and a bullish market sentiment. Players accept a risk premium of EUR 10 for the front quarter,” a Finnish trader said.
