Nordic Market - Back in the range?

Nordic forward prices have adjusted southwards this morning despite dry forecasts. Traders say there is much selling interest on the Q1 product as soon as prices climb over EUR 40/MWh.
The Q1-06 contract opened up at EUR 40.50/MWh this morning, but has fallen below the 40 mark during the morning session, and last changing hands at EUR 39.80/MWh.“There is strong technical resistance at around EUR 40.10/MWh on the Q1 contract. But if the fundamental scenario with dry forecasts continues, I think we will break through this level before the weekend. Then the contract

Confirmed drier and colder weather forecasts contribute to a firm market this morning, but the price movements are not as large as yesterday. Q1-06 was traded at EUR 39.75/MWh earlier, but last changed hands at EUR 39.60, up 30 cents.
