Nordic Market - An early Friday effect

Bullish weather forecasts and the highest system price since September keep the prices up this morning. Activity, however, is low at Nord Pool. The spot is predicted to fall with at least 45 NOK due to less peak hour pricing and an early "Friday effect”.
“There is great caution out there and it seems everyone is waiting for someone to take the first step. It’s almost like the Friday mood “wait until after the weekend” has taken over trading today, volumes are very thin,” a Swedish trader says. The summer contract opened up 3.75 NOK this morning from yesterday’s close and has during the morning session

The whole market lifted during the morning hours. The summer contract opened up a few notch at 178 NOK/MWh (175.25), continuing the strong uptrend that started after yesterday’s high system price.
