Nordic forward prices are falling on Thursday morning on the back of weak fuels and a gloomy financial outlook, as well as wet forecasts, players said.
The Q2 09 contract last traded at EUR 32.75/MWh at Nord Pool, down 25 cents from Wednesday.
"It is very quiet today with small volumes. Players are taking a wait-and-see attitude, as signals are mixed,” said a Norwegian trader, adding that the Nordic power market was in the middle of it all and not sure which way to go.
