Nordic Market - Adjusting upwards

Nordic power prices are strengthening slightly today. V2-05 has gained 3.75 NOK to a last trade of 305.25 NOK/MWh.
"The market is staying around the same levels as it has been for a while now. It is the weather versus the fuel prices. All the recent rain is limiting the upside, and at the same time most players see a limited downside. Unless we get some strong signals in any direction, V2-05 will most likely stay in the 295-310 NOK/MWh range,” says Sigve Ekeland at Lyse Handel.The current V2-05

The activity in the Nordic market is limited Monday morning. V2-05 opened rather firm, but has softened during the forenoon trading session. The autumn contract was traded at 306 NOK/MWh at Nord Pool earlier today, before coming off to 300.75. The contract last changed hands at 302 NOK/MWh, down 2 NOK from Friday.
