The market started out firmly on the back of somewhat colder outlooks, but prices have come off again from the top. The Q2-07 contract was lifted to EUR 28.60 in early trade, the highest level since 4 January, but has eased off to below EUR 28.00.
Players comment that the cold weather will only last for some days next week, before it could be replaced by milder and wetter conditions. “The contract for next week is an obvious selling object.
