Nordic Market - A possible overreaction

Prices at Nord Pool are continuing up this morning, due to a firm German market and even drier prognoses than yesterday. Market players point out that the forward market has gained a lot in a short time, and that the system price must soon start strengthening.
“The market is driven by the same factors as yesterday; dry forecasts and strong German prices. In my opinion, however, prices have increased a bit too much. The spot price must start strengthening in order to justify the current market prices,” says Per Arne Austli at Norwegian hydro power producer BKK.
