Markets - Waiting for the New Year

Nordic forward contracts are being traded slightly above yesterday’s close, but the activity is still very low. In Germany, the short term market is seeing limited liquidity in a slow morning session.
On the Nordic market, Q1-07 was last traded at EUR 38.70/MWh, up 10 cents, while Q2-07 has gained 15 cents to EUR 33.50/MWh.The very mild and wet conditions seem to continue for the next ten days, although the latest EC update showed a drier ending than the previous forecasts. “The weather picture is more or less unchanged, with outlooks a little wetter than normal and temperatures
