MARKET – Will the high last?

(powernews.org) - Dry and cold forecast pushed the market further up this morning, and the interest now seems to lie in whether the high pressure will endure or be replaced by new lows next week. The Summer02 has passed NOK 127 this morning and is now approaching a new resistance level of NOK 128.50.
A stronger than expected system price of NOK 148.35 (+4.25) gave the market a push north yesterday afternoon, and this upward correction continued today as the weather forecast are dry and cold for the coming 10 days. Summer02 continues to be the most liquid of the forward contracts turning over 359GWh at noon today, and climbing NOK 3.00 from yesterday’s close. - It is brutal how
