Market - What are the probabilities?

Monday opened down with a weak spot and unsettled weather outlooks ahead, and turnover was low. A Swedish trader we spoke with today said that she expected the market to remain much like this until the new year, and that players basically wanted to see the new weather trend confirmed before believing it. A Norwegian trader argued that water is the only thing that will make the season go around.

Market - In black or white?
The Tuesday morning was Christmassy quiet as it lifted above yesterday’s close, due to drier and cooler weather outlooks. Players said that yesterday’s drop was probably too ardent, but that the last week’s correction has contributed to reduce the black-and-white scenario. Much of the winter is game over, but scenarios ahead are nevertheless what´s on players mind.

The Tuesday morning was Christmassy quiet as it lifted above yesterday’s close, due to drier and cooler weather outlooks. Players said that yesterday’s drop was probably too ardent, but that the last week’s correction has contributed to reduce the black-and-white scenario. Much of the winter is game over, but scenarios ahead are nevertheless what´s on players mind.

Market - “Futures overestimated, forwards underestimated”
The morning market was in a Friday mood, and while the nearest week dropped, the Christmas week was up. Players in general seem to have small or no positions now, but continue to change focus from V1-03 to SO-03. The most vital question that lingers, however, is whether the top will be revisited and exceeded during the V1-03 period. And that is entirely up to other powers than the market’s.
