Market – Wake me up before you go-go down

(powernews.org) - A thin, sideways market characterizes Friday morning trading, and no major changes are expected throughout the day. A Norwegian trader argued that there are signs that a flat trend has been established now, as the bellwether Summer02 was tested down in the 126s yesterday but has flattened out in the NOK 127s.

Market – Once you pop, you can’t stop
(powernews.org) - The weak market continues from last week, and the downtrend is very much intact as Summer02 popped down to say hello to NOK 124 this morning. More precipitation than average has kept pouring into the system each week, and for now it appears that there is no end to the slide, an international trader said this morning. He argued that the very good hydro balance eventually will result in a much lower spot, and export is now becoming precarious.
