Market - Waiting for the bull

It’s been a thin Friday morning of trading at Nord Pool as players seem happy to sit on the fence waiting for Monday to give new directions. One analyst said this morning that an outbreak on the upside is imminent and that the Winter2 could surpass NOK 170 next week.
Players powernews.org has spoken to still point out the weather forecast s ability to deliver as the key to next week s price movements. An Oslo-based trader said that 2-3 TWh of precipitation this weekend will push forwards down on Monday, while less rain, and drier forecast, would trigger a bullish trend.- It is expected approximately 7.2 TWh of precipitation over the next 10 days co

Market - Never mind the bull?
With a system price well above expectations Monday, the market was lifted in both the futures and forward contracts. The spot lift has been in the air for a while, a Norwegian trader held this morning, and saw no other reason for its arrival today than production tactics.

Market - Falling with the rain
The Thursday market opened in the red as rain have started to pour down over Western Norway, and meteorologists expect twice as much precipitation as normal over the next 10 days. Since April there have been three different highs in the futures with each new top being lower than the last, signalling a downside to come, one player pointed out.
