The Tuesday market lifted several NOK, and V2-03 traded up to 267 NOK/MWh during the morning session, seeing that the weather outlooks were drier. Turnover picked up from the exceptionally thin Monday, but all in all the market is in a holiday mode and not too difficult to drive, players argued. Both a Norwegian producer and a Swedish trader believed that prices should fall back from today’s level.
The autumn contract lifted towards last week’s high at 268.50 NOK/MWh as the weather forecasts were drier than yesterday, trading up to 267 NOK/MWh, while next week was back above 200 NOK/MWh.
