Market - Steep and scary

Weather forecasts pointing in all directions didn’t prevent the market from lifting beyond yesterday’s high. Amounts of precipitation remain well below average despite an extra 2TWh in today’s outlooks, but with a deficit situation close to 30TWh the market remains in a state of bewilderment over the all time high levels. Players argued today that these new levels reflect how problematic the situation has become.
Positions are small and the market is extremely nervous. With the bad resource situation it continues straight up, however, while the trading taking place seems to be primarily adjustments of positions. In general there seems to be an increasing lack of everything now, all the time as the potential in both directions is becoming formidable. SenseAn Oslo-based trader
