Market - Soaring on strong system price

A strong system price of NOK 172.61 (+17.65) has been pivotal in lifting the market heavily on a busy Monday morning. The W2-02 contract opened at NOK 176.00, up 4.25 from Friday, and has so far peaked at NOK 177.50. A Swedish trader pointed at higher night prices in Norway as one clear bull signal, and expected the market to continue up later in the week .
During the last couple of weeks the Nord Pool system price has risen from an average of NOK 136.61 in week 32 to NOK 160.11 last week (week 34). During the same period the Oslo price have put on NOK 20.19 to a last week average of NOK 153.61. The Stockholm price has gone from NOK 144.39 to NOK 186.66.- The spot price is very strong today, and the recent increase of the Oslo price may ind

Market - Only the beginning?
A couple of weeks ago, the weak Swedish resource situation was offset by a stronger Norwegian hydro balance. Now, it is also drying out in Norway, and the Oslo system price lifts towards new heights day by day. On Tuesday the market continued its march north, and a Swedish trader argued this morning that we may only see the beginning of an even stronger bull trend.

Market - Only the beginning?
A couple of weeks ago, the weak Swedish resource situation was offset by a stronger Norwegian hydro balance. Now, it is also drying out in Norway, and the Oslo system price lifts towards new heights day by day. On Tuesday the market continued its march north, and a Swedish trader argued this morning that we may only see the beginning of an even stronger bull trend.
