Market - Slightly bullish

The Friday morning market was traded up a notch, V1-04 up to 377 NOK/MWh, seeing slightly drier weather outlooks. A Swedish player argued that the market is still overpriced, while a trader at a Norwegian production company held that since the outlooks for wetter weather seems to fail, the downside is very limited.
The outlooks of a wetter weather trend do not seem to be realized, the trader said. He nevertheless held that fundamentally the market is overpriced, but with normal amounts of precipitation ahead he still saw no huge downside.- We will have to wait and see what eventually is delivered, and right now it looks as if the weather we can expect for the period ahead will turn out relatively n

The week started with falling prices, seeing a Monday system price below market expectations and more or less unchanged weather outlooks. A Norwegian player said today’s level is what the market should have been priced at last week as well, and expected V1-04 to remain around the present level. After the pushy, exaggerated, short-squeeze, panicky, no sellers lift yesterday afternoon, the Thursday market was traded down a few NOK at open. Towards noon V1-04 was taken to 377 NOK/MWh for some reason, and since there are “nobody” there this could go anywhere today, a Norwegian trader said.

After the pushy, exaggerated, short-squeeze, panicky, no sellers lift yesterday afternoon, the Thursday market was traded down a few NOK at open. Towards noon V1-04 was taken to 377 NOK/MWh for some reason, and since there are “nobody” there this could go anywhere today, a Norwegian trader said.
