Market - Sideways Friday

The Friday market opened down, but adjusted slowly north during the day mainly as a result of positioning. Week-ahead and the winter seasons still finished lower than yesterday. Forecasts remain wet and mild for next week, and consumption is expected to drop significantly.
Today, V1-04 opened at 313 NOK/MWh in the OTC market, but gradually gained in value throughout the day, probably because players were limiting their exposure to the downside ahead of next week. The seasonal bellwether traded last at 316.05 NOK/MWh, which is 3.25 NOK/MWh lower than yesterday’s close.- We need to see a lot of precipitation delivered before the winter season stabilise
