Weather forecasts gave little promise of a sudden improvement of the balance situation today, and the forward price curve consequently continued up this morning. The nearest weeks and Block 4 were somewhat weaker than what we have seen the last couple of days, while SO-03 traded down from its morning OTC-peak at 232 NOK/MWh. Traders agree that the higher the production now, the higher the summer price.
MovesMovements have been significant the last few days, and the summer contract has shifted from below 220 NOK/MWh yesterday to 232 NOK/MWh at open this morning, before falling back to a 225 NOK/MWh level.
