The morning market was thin but bullish, as weather forecasts look cool and dry again. Most contracts were up rather significantly, and V1-03 was lifted back to 500 NOK/MWh. There is little interest among players to do much, however, and even the ones who would like to position themselves for their new year’s expectations, refrain from doing so.
The spot has been very bearish the last week, and is expected to fall somewhat for another day or so. The market is in a Chrismassy mood, and players we have spoken with this morning generally have little to say about the current course of events, or lack thereof.
