Market - Preparing for more winter

Possibilities of colder weather next week have lifted prices on Thursday and the weeks are up 40-50 NOK/MWh on yesterday. Summer 03 is also testing the upside today and was last traded at NOK 202.75.
The market resumed its downward trend yesterday afternoon as the system price once again surprised on the downside while reservoir levels shrunk less than expected in week 3. The strong bearish movements have slowed down in the market, and most contracts are trading up this morning. Summer 03 tested new lows at NOK 192.00 earlier in the morning, but was last traded above yesterday’s closing price at NOK 197.50.
