Market - Opposites attack

The Wednesday market opened down as weather forecasts looked slightly wetter. V1-04 traded a few NOK down from yesterday’s close, while players we spoke with disagreed whether that was a good idea. “This is wrong. The weather outlooks are relatively dry and the hydrological situation is far from good,” a Norwegian trader said. A Norwegian player argued that the future is bearish.
Open was bearish but without any significant movements. V1-04 was traded at 343 NOK/MWh at open, but lifted a couple of NOK during the thin morning session. V1-04 was traded back to the 360-level, and the market is entirely governed by the weather forecasts, a Norwegian producer said this morning.
