Market - Only the beginning?

A couple of weeks ago, the weak Swedish resource situation was offset by a stronger Norwegian hydro balance. Now, it is also drying out in Norway, and the Oslo system price lifts towards new heights day by day. On Tuesday the market continued its march north, and a Swedish trader argued this morning that we may only see the beginning of an even stronger bull trend.
During a very liquid Monday most contracts lifted considerably from their Friday close. Week 36 closed NOK 7.75 higher than on Friday, and the Winter2 contract broke through the strong resistance level of NOK 177 to close at NOK 178.25, up NOK 6.75 from Friday. Market - "No point trying to stop the train"
The bears seem to have vanished from a Nordic power market that is once again heading north on Wednesday. Last week, the market corrected sharply down on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday. A Norwegian trader argued today that a small correction is possible this week, but that any correction now is nothing more than a good buying opportunity.

Market - Soaring on strong system price
A strong system price of NOK 172.61 (+17.65) has been pivotal in lifting the market heavily on a busy Monday morning. The W2-02 contract opened at NOK 176.00, up 4.25 from Friday, and has so far peaked at NOK 177.50. A Swedish trader pointed at higher night prices in Norway as one clear bull signal, and expected the market to continue up later in the week .
