The week set off with prices trading a few NOK down. Somewhat milder and wetter outlooks than before the weekend saw to that in an otherwise not very eventful Monday morning market, players pointed out.

The summer contract has gained slightly in a quiet Tuesday market, edging towards 220 NOK/MWh in the early hours. A Swedish trader said the market could very well break through the 220 level, but not further than 226.

The drier weather outlooks lifted prices further this Friday morning, SO-04 to 221 NOK/MWh before moving a little south. A Norwegian trader didn’t believe the market would be lifted much higher than this.
