Market - More uncertainty

The weeks continue to trade lower on Thursday while the forwards are traded at the same price levels as yesterday. Warmer weather and more precipitation are expected early next week, and this may push the market further down. But reservoir levels continue to shrink. Market players are therefore anxious to see whether the forecast are actually delivered.
Milder and wetter forecasts have been the main explanation for a plunge in prices this week in which the system price has fallen from an all-time high of NOK/MWh 831.41 on Monday to NOK 761.11 today. Market - Springboard movements
Following yesterday’s springboard movements, week 3 is on its way down again today with the other weeks following more slowly. Summer 03 is also heading down trading last at NOK/MWh 260.00. A Swedish trader says the S0-03 is priced too low and should bounce above NOK 300 as soon as the weather forecast turns cold again.
