Market - Less bearish

The strong bearish movements have slowed down in the market, and most contracts are trading up this morning. Summer 03 tested new lows at NOK 192.00 earlier in the morning, but was last traded above yesterday’s closing price at NOK 197.50.
“The market has come down very quickly, and with good reason. But I think most of the downside this week is taken out already, and that we will rather see a modest lift in prices before the weekend”, a Norwegian producer said this morning.The forwards opened down, and the Summer 03 traded as low as NOK 192.00 before turning up. “The Summer can still drop towards NOK 160

Buying interest picked up this morning following yesterday’s sharp fall and today’s weak opening. “I think much of the downside potential has already been taken out this week, and that prices will flatten out and perhaps lift slightly later in the week", said a Norwegian player.
