Market - Last call for a liquidity fear?

The thin morning market bares witness of a market that is still recovering. Players and market observers have argued that it is time to stop the evil circle of the depression, increase liquidity and return to being “the best power market in world.” As of today we know that formerly relatively big traders have scaled down significantly on their positions, and will continue to do so until trust has returned. Torger Lien, Nord Pool’s President and CEO, today describes the situation as the Nordic Power Exchange sees it.

Market - Not feeling well
No significant changes in the fundamental situation have been brought to the market, and despite a low pressure passing through next week players are as bullish as we have got used to. Low liquidity, players having been through the drying tumbler, and expectations of extreme winter prices are still the issues.
