Market - Killer bear?

The Wednesday market was all bearish, seeing wetter weather outlooks for the period ahead, the system price weakening and that Europe is cooling down. V2-03 traded through the strong 321-support level, and with a close in the 317-area today, tomorrow is set for more downside. A Norwegian trader characterized the 320-level as “interesting.”
The Thursday system price was surprisingly weak, fixed at 317.29 NOK/MWh (-25.96), and is applied to precipitation delivering, around normal values the last 24 hours, and wind. According to the trader the market is collectively keen on seeing prices down, and if the rain in the forecast range delivers, prices are likely to continue down, he said. - It’s quite unpleasant to trade on

The Thursday morning market continued down, seeing high amounts of precipitation delivered the last 24 hours and more to come. V2-03 fell through 300 NOK/MWh, and a Norwegian trader declared that “players have certainly put on their bear costumes.” A Swedish trader maintained that the fundamental value of V2-03 has not fallen 50 NOK, but saw 280 NOK/MWh as the next level.

Market - Springy, back and sideways
The Tuesday morning market was up several NOK, but without great changes in the weather outlooks prices pulled down during the forenoon session. A Norwegian player argued that in the short term the autumn contract has a potential to be lifted again. Another player agreed, and said that all indications right now are pointing up, but at the same time found it interesting that V2-03 was rejected on the upside this morning.
