Market - How fundamental was this?

The Friday morning market was a thin affair that dropped a NOK in the forward contracts. W2-02 revisited NOK 163.25, a movement that according to both a Norwegian and Swedish player goes along with the recent counter trading and against the fundamental condition. They argued that it seems like the market has not yet dealt with the fact that the fundamental situation has weakened.
High-risk and slightly bullishIn the long run the fundamental situation always wins, but at the moment the market seems to be left astray in a high-risk scenario, the Norwegian trader we spoke with this morning argued. Market - Now, lift us up where we belong
A strong Monday system price lifted W2-02 above last Monday’s NOK 168 in an otherwise calm morning market. An international trader pointed out that the hydrological balance has weakened by some 10TWh over the last four weeks, and that this correctly constitutes the 30 to 40 NOK/MWh spot lift since.

A strong Monday system price lifted W2-02 above last Monday’s NOK 168 in an otherwise calm morning market. An international trader pointed out that the hydrological balance has weakened by some 10TWh over the last four weeks, and that this correctly constitutes the 30 to 40 NOK/MWh spot lift since.

Market - Nervous on the fence
The strong spot kept the market up this morning, while the outlooks for wetter weather attempted to bring it further down. In the back and forth morning trading a Norwegian player argued that the market is nervous and seems to be waiting till next week to kick up a row, to have a confirmation or invalidation of the amounts of precipitation now expected. An international trader preferred to sit on the fence for the time being.
