Market - Heading South, Year 03 below NOK 166

The market is trading in the red on Wednesday with the Winter2 following the system price down, and Year03 breaking through the support level of NOK 167.50. A Norwegian producer believes prices have reached the top for the time being, while an analyst expects prices to strengthen again next week when the weather turns dry again.
The system price and the Winter2 contract are very much following each other at the moment, and yesterday’s fall in the system price sparked another southern correction on the most traded forward contract. A Norwegian analyst argued today that Winter2 is likely to stay in the NOK 180-184 range in the days ahead, and that a stronger system price next week will lift it towards the upper end

Market - Turning bull again
After testing the downside earlier in the week, the market is heading back north this morning. A Norwegian trader said today’s lift is a reaction to dry forecasts next week, when he expects the market to continue up. A Swedish trader was more uncertain about developments next week as he found no fundamental news that should indicate a strong up trend.

Market - Turning bull again
After testing the downside earlier in the week, the market is heading back north this morning. A Norwegian trader said today’s lift is a reaction to dry forecasts next week, when he expects the market to continue up. A Swedish trader was more uncertain about developments next week as he found no fundamental news that should indicate a strong up trend.

Market - Winter2 stuck in a narrow range
The Winter2 contract are slowly following the weeks up on Tuesday while the other forwards are heading the other direction. Movements are low, and an international trader didn’t expect any big changes on the Winter2 towards delivery, but held that the Year03 and Summer03 are priced some NOK 5 and 10-15 too high accordingly.
