Market - Fundamentally bear

Friday’s bullish movements were firmly rejected this morning on the back of another unsettled forecast. SO-04 is down 8.25 NOK/MWh, but the market is hesitant to push prices further south.
- The market rose too much on Friday, which may be due to profit-taking before the weekend and some stop-losses in the afternoon. Today we have a natural correction back to prices we had on Thursday and Wednesday last week, a Swedish trader said.His remarks were backed up by a Norwegian trader who said today’s movements were triggered by the fundamentals.- Forecasts are unce

Market - Bullish now
The Friday market was lifted in the forwards, later also in the front, seeing the summer contract trade up some 5 NOK from yesterday. A Swedish trader considered the lift too big, while a Norwegian trader said that although the weather had been mild so far this winter, it wouldn’t necessarily stay that way.

The Friday market was lifted in the forwards, later also in the front, seeing the summer contract trade up some 5 NOK from yesterday. A Swedish trader considered the lift too big, while a Norwegian trader said that although the weather had been mild so far this winter, it wouldn’t necessarily stay that way.
