Market - Flat Tuesday

The market has flattened out at familiar levels this week, and little was new under the Nordic electricity sky this morning. The short week is blamed for the silence, and players are leaning back in their trading-chairs, expecting little to happen. And weather decelerates the downside, a Swedish trader said, and an analyst held that we could have entered the summer range.
Sideways could very well have become the trend and the usual summer-range may have started. V2-03 trading within 229 and 245 NOK/MWh is a likely range ahead, and not until a break out of either side takes place will there be a direction to lean on, the analyst said. Market - Bullish on dry, weak spot
As expected, the Wednesday system price was fixed a few NOK below today’s, at 210.63 NOK/MWh (-6.40). The afternoon market lifted from the flat morning session, and the strengthening is applied to the high pressure building up. A Norwegian trader argued that despite the drier forecast, chances on the downside are better than on the upside.

Market - Bullish on dry, weak spot
As expected, the Wednesday system price was fixed a few NOK below today’s, at 210.63 NOK/MWh (-6.40). The afternoon market lifted from the flat morning session, and the strengthening is applied to the high pressure building up. A Norwegian trader argued that despite the drier forecast, chances on the downside are better than on the upside.

Market - Red Monday
Monday opened slightly weaker than Friday and fell another couple of NOKs during the morning, but remained in familiar waters as far as prices are concerned. Generally little has changed over the weekend, a Swedish trader said, who nonetheless was a little surprised that the morning marked weakened rather than strengthened. Precipitation was delivered during the weekend, a Norwegian trader pointed out, but added that the present inflow veils winter prices.
