Market - Expecting strong spot prices

The strong northern movements have taken a break today amid less bullish forecast. Market players are now waiting for tomorrow’s system price, which may be pushed up towards 300 NOK/MWh due to high consumption during peak hours.
Most of the contracts opened up today, but the strong northern trend from yesterday have not been followed up, and most contracts have adjusted south during morning hours. Summer 04 is down 2 NOK from yesterday at 236.50 NOK/MWh after trading above 240 NOK/MWh in the early morning.- Forecasts are not as dry and cold as they were yesterday afternoon.
