Dry forecasts contribute to lift the market another level on Monday. The Winter2 contract is trading at its highest level since last summer, and expectations of an “inevitable” wetter period later in the autumn now seems to be the best bear argument.
Today’s lift has mainly been attributed to dry forecasts and a tight resource situation.- Forecasts are very dry. Only 2.3 TWh are expected over the next 10 days, according to the EC ensemble. That is 4.3 TWh less than normal, and will bring the overall resource situation to a deficit of 8 TWh”, says Ole Tom Djupskaas, analyst at Natsource-Tullett Scandinavia.F
