Market - Down despite strong spot

A strong system price of NOK/MWh 258.08 is not enough to block a marked fall in the Monday market, as much precipitation has been delivered this weekend and even more is expected.
Today’s system price is well above the NOK 237.55 average of last week, mainly due to colder temperatures that have delayed the snow melting and forced people to turn on their heaters again. Market - Rain on drain
As the high pressures have moved to the Mediterranean, the Nordic hydrological system is influenced by a bearish traffic jam from the Atlantic. And although today’s weather forecasts were noticeably drier than yesterday, southern and central Scandinavia is expecting rather high amounts of precipitation for the period. So, yesterday’s significant drop continued this morning, somewhat more carefully.
