Market - Day of correction

Activity has been very high in the market on Thursday with a turnover of over 5,000GWh before noon. Prices opened down from yesterday and market players powernews.org has been in contact with consider today’s movements to be a correction to the long-lasting uptrend, and a response to wetter forecasts for next week.
The Winter2 contract never managed to break through the NOK 176 technical resistance level yesterday after testing it during the morning hours. The contract fell throughout the afternoon, closed at NOK 174.75, and opened today further down at NOK 172.25. Market - No limits, or in for a correction?
The market opened up another level this morning on even drier forecast than yesterday, and the Winter2 contract is now testing the strong technical resistance levels of NOK 176.25 and NOK 177. A Swedish trader argued it is time for caution now while a Norwegian trader said the potential upside is still huge pointing to the tight resource situation.
